Dennis Scoble
Aka: Scobes
Renowned for his cool, logical mind and classic dry humour, Scobes has also become revered for his talent as the club's only licenced bookie. His Form Guides are legendary as are his betting odds on major club events, but has yet to make a killing given he has his own inside information. A dedicated "pop" who skilfully juggles golf with family commitments.
Inaugural Club Champion (2000–2001) and three-times Match Play Champion, has also scored in most other major events. Sometimes affectionately referred to as the "Silent Assassin" given his casual, no-nonsense, subtle off-the-back-foot swinging style that quietly amasses those consistent no-fuss wins.

Steve Allardice
Aka: Iron Man; Wood Man; Chalk 2
Proud Platinum Sponsor of the club. Despite many business and family commitments, made good time on the golf course as well as very generous and greatly appreciated personal and material contributions. Has a love of fast cars as the Valium-popping Secretary can testify after various riparounds in Steve's (one time) flashy lime green rocket. Very successful business operator in a highly competitive field. Also a proven successful golfer in a highly competitive field with 4 award wins – all of them Majors, including three highly prized Mornington Masters wins (2009/2011/2013). Finally graduated from ferocious irons off the tee to equally ferocious woods. Business commitments sadly prevented him from playing after the 2016-17 season but he is still keen to continue when his situation changes.
